did you hear of one kid doing that thing where they were younger where they breed and trained close to extinct pokemon in order to try and save them? i bring this up cause pokemon does listen apparently and several of the pokemon got taken off the extinction category
he posted about him breeding a releasing lapras in old pearl and diamond, sun and moon comes around and they are no longer endangered. wander if nintendo just has a counter for each pokemon that says how many are "in the wild now"
